Our Focus is on Safety
Safety is a top priority at JVIC, and we continue to develop new ways to sharpen our focus in this area. In 2007, we've introduced new activities to keep safety top of mind all day, every day.
One key initiative is the distribution of Turnaround Daily safety bulletins. Everyday each job site receives a newsletter featuring guidelines, tips and training materials that are discussed during shift change toolbox meetings.
During the past four years, the number of man hours logged has significantly increased while JVIC's TRIR rate has, on average, declined.
